The retched farewell to childhood

lyrics

I remember when I said goodbye, I started to cry, greeted my new life.
I threw away my childlike eyes put on a new view, I know you had to too.

Didn't we want the day where we lay down our childish things? Didn't we want to wear grown up clothes, and know what grown ups know?

I remember when I said I love you for the first time, my first adult lie.
You said you wanted us forever, I knew it wasn't true, and you knew that I knew.

And now we feel torn apart, there's no time left for a fresh start, didn't we play the part, of growing up, to break someones heart?

And forget, what we were, to never return, to childhood, to childhood...
